Kazanjian Brothers of Beverly Hills

Kazanjian Brothers History

The Kazanjian Brothers search to purchase important diamonds, precious gems and estate jewelry. They are committed to long term service for their clients through education and exhibitions worldwide.

The company was founded in 1918 by James and Harry Kazanjian and their father Charles, who brought their experience in the art of fine jewelry from their native Armenia to Paris before emigrating to the US in 1916. James lifelong quest for exquisite and extraordinary gems led his explorations to some of the worlds most remote and exotic destinations where he was able to acquire rare jewels from the Maharajas in India, the largest rubies and sapphires from the mines in Africa and SriLanka, as well as other historical pieces from a variety for discerning collectors and luminaries.

Over the years, the Kazanjian Brothers developed a reputation as the “Deans” of the international jewelry industry. Their legacy continues through their heirs; sons Michael and Stanley, as well as grandson Douglas and granddaughter Michelle. The Kazanjians continue their quest to uncover the rarest gems and estate jewels while cultivating ties with some of the most prominent families and institutions worldwide.

To celebrate their 100 year anniversary they wanted to upgrade their website with a fresh, new design and the functionality needed for their online clients. This was also a great time to highlight the 100 year history of the company with a timeline and show off their prominent pieces to the world.
